Scratch, scratch....aaahh... Well, I can't say the mosquito repellent has worked very well during our holiday. Every morning, I have at least three new bites, and they itch like crazy all day long. My legs and back are full of bites and I can't stop scratching! Gaaaahh.

Since we arrived in paradise, I have wanted to try papaya, as I, in fact, have never tried it before. Finally, after two weeks here, we managed to get a hold of a ripe papaya and we were both quite excited to taste. After just one bite, I could tell it was not as I had expected, frankly, I didn't like it at all which was quite a disappointment. Before traveling here, I had pictured us eating all sorts of exotic fruits, like mango, passionfruit, papaya and avocado, but actually, we haven't seen much fruit at all, other than oranges and some mango.

Tomorrow, we are leaving for Mahe where we will stay for three nights before flying back home. We have had such a great time here on Praslin and it does feel rather weird to leave. We spent our last days on Praslin's best beaches, chasing waves, sun tanning and catching up on some reading. Hopefully, our short stay on Beau Vallon beach on Mahe will be just as memorable as these past few weeks.
