After quite some time, we finally visited Blidö (an island off Norrtälje, north of sthlm) where my relative has a pittoresque little house. This is where my grandpa used to spend a lot of his time, and it always makes it extra special to be out here, knowing he loved the place incredibly much. It is amazing what a relief it is to escape the city, even if it was just one night, the peace and quiet is something I truly need from time to time. Although we didn't do anything in particular, it was certainly relaxing and nice for a change to simply 'do nothing'. We ate lots of extremely tasty strawberries straight from the plants in the garden, quite a summery feeling.
