Nearly a week has passed since I came back home from an amazing holiday on Hawaii. In two weeks time we have managed to squeeze in a lot of adventures and I feel we really did the most of it. Starting off in Waikiki, Honolulu, we surfed, snorkelled, enjoyed the sun, white beaches and turquoise ocean. After a week in this tourist paradise, we hired a car and drove up the coast to North shore, where we spent three relaxing days just next to Sunset beach, or Shark's cove as the place was called. On our way there we also hiked through a rainforest to find a beautiful waterfall where we swam in the cool water. Our trip continued to Big Island, and as we drove around in our Mustang we saw both volcanoes, volcano beaches, a waterfall and picturesque little towns. We stayed in Kailua-Kona for two nights and enjoyed the local seafood and quiet beaches. The last three days were spent back in Waikiki, making sure we shopped until we dropped, which we almost did, spending all days until sunset on the beach and ate sushi and other great foods until we, or at least I felt ready to fly back home. Coming home it almost feels unreal to have been in such a paradise, I'm glad to have such incredible memories to look back on now when autumn is just around the corner.
