Enjoyed a day of skiing on the weekend. We left early on Saturday morning and arrived a bit later than planned due to accidents on the road and lots of traffic. However, we managed to get a couple of hours in the slopes, which in my case meant practising carving. It took a while before I understood how I was supposed to do, but in the end I felt more comfortable and actually succeeded pretty well towards the end of our day. Now, it may seem as if I have never gone skiing before, which is wrong. In fact, I have gone skiing most years since I was four. Lately, nonetheless,  I have been wanting to improve my skiing, to a more advanced level which is why I first of all decided to buy my own equipment. Anyway, coming home in the night, we were extremely tired and we forced ourselves to stay awake til at least 10 p.m. It was such a great day we are already planning our next skiing trip! :)
