Dinner with a view
After spending a week and a half on beautiful Zanzibar, I am now deeply set on holiday mode as the only thing to do is 'pole pole', in other words, taking it really slow. Except from spending two days in bed with a horrible fever, everything has been perfect. Every night, before ordering a new seafood dish for dinner, we have walked along the beach and watched the stars and the moon, amazed over the incredibly dark, but clear sky. Lying on the beach or by the pool, I have worked my way through a couple of novels, something that is never given enough time in my hectic every day life. Nevertheless, I have also enjoyed and appreciated not having any plans or 'must do's', other than going from one exotic beach bungalow to the next luxury villa. We have stayed at four different hotels and are currently at the last one before taking the ferry to Dar tomorrow, where our last two days in Tanzania will be spent. All I can say is, hakuna matata!
