All good things come to an end

Eight weeks have almost passed and it is time to leave Tanzania and fly back home. Somehow, I always tend to get a bit sentimental when leaving a place, or saying goodbye. Nevertheless, it feels extremely comforting and quite good knowing I will be sleeping in my own bed tomorrow night. Eight weeks certainly feels like a long period of time, especially when being so far away from home. Although, when looking back at everything we have done; experienced the student's life on campus, safari, endless bus trips, beach life, shopping and much more, it seems like we have managed to do a lot of different things in just a a couple of weeks. I am grateful for all the exciting experiences and for the friendly and helpful people we have met during our journey. Naturally, this trip has contained both good and less desirable moments, which all contribute in making it as special as it truly has been. I will leave this continent with a smile on my face, content by the fact that everything has panned out the way I had hoped for, not always as planned, but somehow, in a good way.
