Although I have only been home for a couple of days, I have managed to fill my days up to the limit, making sure everything would be organised before Christmas. I went to my first 'professional' interviews as a teacher this week, and was offered a job as a secondary English teacher. After signing the contract, feeling happy, but also relieved to know I have a job to go to in January, I finished all the shopping and other final preparations. It has been good to be back home after so many weeks away; eating food I can trust, sleeping a whole night without constantly waking up, spending time with my family and silly but important things like checking my email on the bus. Now, I am completely ready to celebrate Christmas and enjoy lovely food and great company.
