Travelling to a country where you have never been before results in a lot of pre-shopping as it is difficult to know what is necessary to bring and what is not. Reading the Lonely Planet's guide every night before going to bed, and it becomes clear it strongly advices you to bring a 'mini'-pharmacy, though, there is nothing especially 'mini' about it since you have to prepare for all the unexpected situations that may occur. Besides spending half of a student's monthly costs for food on first aid products, investing in a new camera, comfortable shoes and suitable clothes (?) were also on the list of necessary things to bring.

It is now less than two weeks until leaving and it is a bit overwhelming considering everything that has to be done. Meanwhile completing all the preparations, I'm also, however, eating great food, as if I'm preparing to live without it for the next two months as I have also been advised not to eat certain foods due to health risks and naturally, because of my celiac.
