Who knew Christmas would pass by so quickly after looking forward to it for such a long time? This year, I did not have enough time to mentally prepare, as people normally do from the beginning of December with all the cosy moments like 'Lucia' or 'Advent' or strolling around the markets in Old Town. Instead, I came back from Africa on Sunday, had lots of uni and work related things to catch up on, did all the Christmas preparations in less than two days, and all of a sudden, Christmas was here. Despite the hectic week, while also trying to get my health back in shape, I have had a relaxing Christmas eve, just enjoying the Swedish 'julbord', and doing all the other things required for a typical Swedish Christmas.
